What do the groups do?

I'm guessing you can upgrade your abilities? I tried the third option, no change in-game to the amount of arrows.

Groups are basically quickslots if you have more than 3 spells.

For example, I can have chi mend, caltrops, firebomb on one.
I press tab, I have chi prayer, dark hunter, etc on another set.

Hope it helps.

You can switch through the groups as you press "Tab".
So it's like different action bars in other games.

Thanks so much, that makes sense. So man, lots of multi-tasking to be had!

Yep, but I'm purely cunning, so I really only use 3 skills.
Tab is there for the hybrid classes, and maybe someday new skills!

Actually seeing as you only ever get 3 active slots at a time it's actually a very convenient system as you can leave your main fingers on 1 to 3 and have your pinky hover over Tab to shuffle through skill sets on the fly!

I think it's pretty well done - not so much key mashing as other aRPG's.

extra slots for your skills, your gonna need them when your character reaches high levels

Yes, they are basically just quick slots. You can use Tab to quickly change group.
Personally, I put all my good combat skill in Group1, i use Group2 for ChiMend, Stone Skin and Seeing Red and i just put skills that i would barely need in group 3.
