The Karma Crystals are for buying from the rare shop, premium consumables and ressurection scrolls (and apparently will be needed for *some* of the crafting). At the moment you can only grab a small amount from the daily stamp card... but from what Flight has mentioned on other threads there will be other ways to get them eventually!

I had a short glance at the Steam version and noticed that the 18th daily reward there consists of 5 ressurrection scrolls...
