First off, I think there might be something wrong with your graphics card, or maybe your installation of the client. Your screen should look like this:






[Blue] - The colour of the item name indicates its quality. From most common to rare ;White/Green/Blue/Purple.
[Orange] - Your item attributes. You'll see what materials you need to upgrade each one by clicking on it when it appears in the purple box. (I don't think the Thirsty enchant uses cloth)

1. [Red] - Drag your item into the box. (Should still work even though you can't see the 'box' on your screen)
2. [Purple] - Attributes will show up in that space on the left. Click on the one you want to upgrade.
3. Choose whether to attempt to craft with Karma or Karma Gems.
4. Tadaaa!!

Might be worth checking to see if your drivers are up to date. If that doesn't work, try redownloading and installing the Akaneiro client. Should be one of those! ^

But yeah, I'd try to see if there's any latest drivers.   Beyond that, it might be time for a bit of an upgrade !!
