arena cheating [Copy link]

someone named BillGATEs on steam just battled me 20 times in last half hour. HOW? i thought you can only battle random users.

Cheating? No.

The Arena opponents are random within range of your current rank.  Even then, the attacker has the ability to pay 50 Soul Coins to Change Opponent until he/she finds the appropriate and desired opponent.  In this case, you are his/her desired opponent.  He didn't necessarily attack you 20 times in a row, he could be attacking everyone in his rank but from your perspective he attacked you 20 times in  a row.

In order for someone to go top5 or top10 in arena, they have to attack a list of people over and over again (because the list is not large).

Also, keep in mind "Bill" is definitely one of the top players over there on Steam. Very competitive and active. Not surprising if you see a lot of him ;)

It might not have anything to do with finding you in arena. Keep in mind if you have attacked him before, he can use the battle history to fight you.
